Darpan builds websites for local businesses from their public business listings. This page says what we collect and what we do with it, in plain language.
What we collect
- The link or name you paste. We use it to look up the business's public listing (via Google's APIs and licensed data providers) and generate a website from it.
- Public business information: name, category, location, hours, rating and review content. Review text is used to write the website's copy; we do not permanently store review text for free-tier sites, and we never publish reviewer names on free-tier sites.
- Contact details when you claim a site: your phone number (verified by OTP) and email, used to attach the site to your account and to send you the reports you signed up for.
- Basic usage counts on generated sites (visits, button taps), shown only to the site's owner. No advertising trackers, no sale of data.
If you connect your Google Business Profile
Paid accounts can connect their profile with Google sign-in. We then read your reviews, business information and photos under your authorization, only to keep your website and reports current. You can disconnect at any time, which stops all access and deletes cached review data.
Removal and corrections
If you are a business owner and want a generated site removed or corrected, or a reviewer who wants their content removed from a site, email hello@megaboard.live and it will be handled promptly.
Where data lives
Generated sites and account data are stored with our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, Google Cloud). Payments are processed by Razorpay and Dodo Payments; we never see or store card or UPI details.
